The Barrington High School cross country teams are organizing this 5k race through the trails behind the Barrington High School to raise funds so that our attendance at prestigious cross country meets can be fulfilled. These more competitive meets offer an opportunity for our athletes to be more easily recruited by colleges and universities, and Barrington's presence in the running world can be furthered beyond state borders.

Whether you run the 5k in under 16 minutes and are fighting for the $100, or run over 40 minutes, just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday, we appreciate the support and thank you all.
